about Astoria “Tori” Noelle Elms (born March 7, 1999) is an American actress. A Pisces by zodiac sign, Elms is known for her intuitive performances and artistic sensibility. During the first years of her life, she trained as a competitive horseback rider before shifting her focus to acting at age 14. She grew up immersed in cinema, particularly films directed by Woody Allen, Quentin Tarantino, Sofia Coppola, and Martin Scorsese. Her sister’s marriage to a writer further inspired Elms to pursue an acting career.
Elms began acting in short films before gaining wider recognition for her portrayal of a sullen teenager in the FX comedy-drama series Better Things (2016–2022). She went on to play Manson Family member Susan “Sadie” Atkins in Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood (2019), followed by her role as Amber Freeman in Scream (2022). Her breakthrough came with her critically acclaimed performance as a stripper in Sean Baker’s Anora (2024), for which she earned numerous accolades, including the BAFTA Award and the Academy Award for Best Actress.Elms lives in her native Los Angeles with her five pets: Apollo (a Siberian Husky), Biscuit (a cat), and three chihuahuas—Strawberry Jam, Peaches, and Birdie. She has four siblings, including a twin brother, and is the youngest daughter and fourth of five children. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, re-reading or rewatching the Harry Potter series, and spending time with friends and family. She is also an avid collector of books, vinyl records, and crystals.She is Jewish, though she is non-practicing. However, she describes herself as a "very spiritual person."
